EGG CURRY MASALA

Are you busy with work? Forgot to check vegetables in stock in Fridge?  Do you have only less time to cook. Do you want to give healthy curry or  Masala as main course for your family. Shocked to see no vegetables in fridge at the time of cooking? sometimes happens ....

Answer and Remedy for all above questions is Easy simple Egg Curry Masala. 



EGG ,a Nutritious Stuff:

Egg  an undetectable stuff in our LIFE. Do you remember your mess and play with eggs in your childhood days.  Every one has it.
At that ge we are not aware of health benefits of eggs. But when then when we learn about the Nutritious values we forget those memories. 

Egg, an oval pack of
 Proteins and amino acids
Folate,  selenium, calcium, phosphorus,zinc.
Vitamin A, D, E, K, B5,B6,B12.
Egg plays important role in balanced diet.
Good to increase HDL, eaten in moderate.
Best for brain,eye ,skin health.

Already known all these benefits let's roll into the egg recipe. 
So many easy egg Recepies /dishes are there 
Egg scrambles 
Egg omelet 
Egg half and full boiled 
Egg bread sandwich 
Egg fried rice 
Egg podimas
Egg dosas
Egg rolls..........the list goes on and on...
Egg Curry Masala is something different, it can be a main course  for rice,roris,naan,Poori,Chapathi etc.
There are many variations in egg Curry Masala. It's a gravy style dish suitable for any time.  The curry explained here  has ground  coconut ,as one of the ingredients. 

Ingredients :

Eggs 4 to 5 nos.
Onion 4nos
Tomato 3 nos
Coconut pieces a handful 
Turmeric powder 
Masala powder with chilli and coriander ground.
Jeera.
Sauting spices:
Mustard, fennel, cinnamon, bay leaf, cloves 2 nos,garlic chopped,oil.
Salt.

How to prepare/ PREPARATION:

In a mixer ,add coconut pieces, jeera,2 onions, cut into pieces,.

Grind into paste.


Heat a wide pan on medium flame.  
After heated add oil.
Add Mustard ,fennel and all spices. 

Add cut onions. 

When onions turn golden brown add cut tomatoes to it.

As ours is Less oil Recepie, it's better to saute everything in low flame. 

Add masala paste and cook well.

When all the ingredients mixed well add one spoon curry masala powder (prepared at home) and turmeric powd

After raw smell of all ingredients goes off add one and half cup of water 
Let the mixture boil in low flame until it comes to gravy consistency. 
Add salt to your taste. 

Now keep the flame to the minimum, take an egg,crack and add the colloidal egg contents gently into the gravy.

Add other eggs also.
Now close the pan with lid.

After 5 to 7 minutes, open the lid to see the beautiful yellow white cooked eggs  bathed in the curry.  

If needed you can gently turn the eggs for full cooking. 
Otherwise just pour the curry over the eggs
Close the lid and let it not be disturbed.
Tasty flavoured attractive egg Curry Masala is ready.
This egg Curry goes well with Chapathi,Poori, roti,jeera rice, Biryani, all varieties of rice.

Variation:

Instead of cracking the eggs, boil the eggs for 10 minutes . Cool it. Remove the shell. Cut the eggs in to two halves.  These can be added to the boiling curry masala. 
These will be also easy to prepare and tasty to eat.
