Coriander Immunity Booster Chutney

A country may be the richest,but  without  a strong military might. It cannot be powerful.




 Same  in case of our body too. Immune system, the military might in our body is  as important as other systems in our body. The food we take plays a major role in keeping our immune system the best. One such ingredient in our food  is Coriander. 


Coriander in Food:

Coriander is used in our food as leaves with stem, seeds as spices. In Indian shops the whole  plant is given free as bunches.  But many not aware that  they are bringing a powerful immunity booster to their home ,that to free of cost.

No need to spend a lot of rupees or dollars on immunity boosting pills in pharmacy shops. Just a bunch of Coriander leaves in any form five days a week or even daily keeps your immune system active. 




Internationally Coriander plays important role in cuisines of many countries like :

India

Thai

Egypt 

Mexico 

Vietnam 

China

In South India  Coriander is consumed as leaves added to almost every food like

Curries,

Rasams

Chutney

 Variety Rice

Biryani

snacks 

and as Coriander seeds ground to powder aded in curry, 

Sambar

vegetable fries.

  • Coriander is heart friendly. Helps in lowering blood pressure and in maintaining blood cholesterol level. 


  • Very good for people with high blood sugar levels to keep sugar in blood control. 

  • Act against inflammaions and help people with Alzhiemer, multiple sclerosis as they are related to inflammations. There by good for brain health. 

  • It is good for digestion,and so helps in gut health. 

  • Good for healthy skin and hair.

Let we role into Recepie. 
In this Recepie we are going to make a delicious Coriander Chutney in easy way with coriander leaves.

INGREDIENTS :

Bunch of fresh coriander leaves cleaned and washed 
Onion 2nos
Tomatoes 2nos
Chilli 3nos
Tamarind little (optional).
Urid dhal 2 spoons
Oil to fry 2 spoons
Salt.

HOW TO PREPARE :

Glean the leaves with soft stalks.
Heat the pan,add oil.


When oil is heated add  chilli, urid dhal . Sauté well in low flame.
Add cut onions fry until turn golden brown.

 
Add cut tomatoes. 

Fry well in medium flame. 
Add tamarind if you want. It is optional only.

When the ingredients half cooked add coriander leaves. Sauté well by mixing all.

Just sprinkle some watter and close the pan with lid, allow cooking in low flame. 

Coriander will get cooked fast. In 5 to 10 depending on the thickness of stem it will cooked well.
You can check in-between by opening the lid.
After being cooked , switch off the stove.
Let it cool.

After cooled add the mix to mixer jar, add salt to your taste and grind to paste.


Tasty Greeny Healthy Easy Immune Boosting Coriander Chutney is ready .


This Chutney can be served with crispy Dosas,Idlis,Rice,Appam,Vadas .
